A wonderful shoot with the Clawson kids! I got to take their pictures about a year ago as well. It is so fun to see them grow!

My 2 1/2 month old princess... Doing what she does best! Smiling and splashing. Sleeping with her right hand on her cheek. And making my life wonderful every single day. Thank you, Jesus for blessing us with this sweet girl!!

My little ballerina... One month old. She is now two months old, and I am just getting around to posting this! Crazy how much time I can spend just holding my little girl. :-) Wouldn't change it for the world. 

Hailey Paige

Introducing: Our precious little girl! Hailey Paige Quarto. Our little angel made her grand appearance at 0452 on Mother's Day! She was 8 lbs, 0 oz, 18.5 in. Now that's a gift I will never forget. She was born in our home, after 3 hrs and 52 min of labor. Holy cow was that fast... Can't say that I was  heartbroken about a short labor though! Time is just flying by... already she will be 6 weeks old on Sunday. We can hardly imagine life without her.

Excuse the poor picture, it was taken in the dark with my phone on her birthday. But I love it, because our puppy dog was just lying there checking Hailey out. To this day Sasha (dog) is super protective of the baby!! 

A new bundle of joy!

I had the honor of taking this little girl's first pictures. SO fun!!!! I love what I do. Turns out, it was a first photo shoot for mom and dad too. Such a gorgeous family. I look forward to more sessions with them!!

Finally, some pictures to post on here. :-) Here are just a few of a rather photogenic high school senior. The best part of a photo session is when I get to review the pictures with the clients, and they LOVE them. It makes me happy that I got to give them what they were hoping for!

Gearing up for the Holidays

This post does not have photos to accompany it, but they are coming soon!!! So many new and exciting things have kept me very busy. Most of my energy goes to making it through a work day while growing our little one! Yep, we are expecting our first baby in May of 2012!! I have a "new" job at the fire dept. I switched from EMT to secretary in order to be safe during the pregnancy. That has been quite the learning experience. Also, this will be our first holiday season as a married couple! So along with all that, I have booked my first paid photo session for tomorrow!! I'm a little bit excited. :-) As if that is not enough, I have two more sessions in the works! My dream of becoming a photographer seems to be coming true. Oh, and did I mention that I have the best husband in the whole world??  I'm loving every minute of life. :-) So, Happy Thanksgiving, and stay tuned for some *hopefully* lovely family and senior portraits!!

Summer Vacation

My husband and I were able to get outta town for 10 days! It was a much needed getaway. I left with the intention of looking for some great shots, and while I did get a few I found that I was having much more fun just wandering around and not focusing too much on my camera. Here is one of my favorite shots from the coast near Big Sur, CA. May I say that I absolutely love wild flowers!!!!!

This morning when I woke up, it was raining. A slow, peaceful drizzle. I absolutely love the rain. But I was very happy that it cleared up in time for this photo session! The rain and clouds only make the colors better. It was a beautiful morning in the park, with a lovely little girl! Thank you for playing, Adrianna! And thanks to Nicole for letting me play with your daughter. :-) 

Fire Training

One of the things I like about my job is the close access to firefighter training, and the photo opportunities it brings me! (Guys, don't go getting big heads, it's the picture-taking I like, not watching you train. ;-) ) I had fun with these, and I'm excited for my next photo shoot. I have the honor of taking pictures of a friend's daughter tomorrow! I will post them as soon as I can!
